The Pino di Svezia is the most used material for the production of fixtures. However it is not a suitable material for all conditions
The low density wood makes it very efficient in terms of thermal insulation and therefore makes it a suitable material for typical installation areas such as mountain and hill areas.
Its unmistakable rustic flavor makes it appreciate in many variations of color always in wood color. The presence of knots and resin in fact favors on the lacquered the formation of unsightly halos and patches that also result in small localized amber drips in the warmer months
Technical information
The characteristics of longevity and resistance to molds, fungi and atmospheric agents typical of the autoclave-impregnated pine:
- superior quality and workmanship, guaranteed by precise standards
- a pleasant warm chestnut color that goes deep into the section ensuring a longer painting life
- an impermealizing component that is not limited to the surface of the profile but penetrates into the wood fibers making the water slide away from the wood and the structure of the material is much more compact while reducing the dimensional variations of the profiles and the production of cracks
- a production process that, unlike others such as eg. the heat treatment, maintains the physical characteristics of the wood unaltered
- the impregnation in the autoclave, the coloring and the addition of the water-repellent agent, finally, take place in a single production process that alternates pressure and vacuum, allowing in this way to obtain a product far superior while limiting the increase of costs
